We are so excited to be able to announce the launch of our brand new “membership” section!

After doing a survey to discover what features people would appreciate the most this is what we decided to offer:-

A Chatroom – a general place to just – well – chat… to other people on the same journey – in the pic you can see us making some last minute “tweaks” before launching to ensure a smooth user-experience.

Forums – another chatroom (OK so we like chatrooms) – but this time split into “topics” of interest – for example “Sober Dating” is one of our current topics – we have an enthusiastic “sober dater” who is running this forum.

“Ask the Doctor” – we get tons of letters asking us questions like “I have been drinking heavily for years and am worried about my liver” – so we have found a GP with a special interest in alcohol related issues who is prepared to answer all of your questions.

“Doctors Q and A” – when a member submits a question to the Doc it remains confidential as does the answer which we send directly to the member.

However in the Q and A section we do list the questions (and answers) from our Doc (anonymously) to help others who may have similar worries.

“Recovery Rocks” – those of you who have been to our workshops already know the power of sharing stories – so this is an online space where members can post their very own stories – we have already received a story from someone that is so inspiring (and quite long!) so we have decided to “serialise” it in this section – you will get hooked I promise you!

So we do hope you will join our tribe – all you need to do is to go to worldwithoutwine.com, tap on “membership”, tap on “register” and follow the instructions – any problems just email us on janet@nulltribesober.com

Our subscription is just R450 – if you are outside of South Africa then Payfast will do that clever currency conversion thing for you – we’ve already had subscriptions in from Singapore and London so we know it works!

In other news we were honoured to be featured in this month’s Marie Claire.

Deputy Editor Lynette Botha came as a guest to one of our workshops and then wrote a fabulous 3 page feature about it!

Thank you Lynette – you rock!

The magazine is on the shelves now and we will publish the link to the electronic version in next month’s newsletter.

Have a fabulous month people – hope to “see” you in our chatroom very soon!
